.
According to a spokesperson for the MNDAA, there was two-hour clash. It started at 11:30am and lasted until 1:30pm. The fighting broke out because the junta troops attacked MNDAA base.
“Junta troops attacked our base. Their soldiers have suffered and got casualties. We saw trucks come and go for numbers of times to pick up those got killed and injured,” said the spokesperson.

When asked for further and exact number of casualties, he could not verify the exact number of casualties from junta side.
The junta has been announced a year-long and one-side ceasefire from January 1st to December 31st, 2023. He added that “The military regime announced for a year-long ceasefire, but on the ground, they are attacking us. Their statement is ridiculous.”
The Security Administration Council has been announced a 1-year cease-fire to continue the peace talks, but the fighting has not been stopped on the ground.
