SAC Airstrikes Targeting Civilians in Muse and Namkham Townships

On Saturday night, State Administration Council (SAC) jet bombed a village in Muse Township, injuring three people, including a child, and destroyed at least three homes.

A local source stated that there wasn’t any fighting in Jae Lant before the jet fighter dropped a 500 lb bomb on it, injuring a 40-year-old man, a woman, and a child.

On the same night, there were also airstrikes on Nawng Sang, Ho Kart, Kawng Nawng Mo wards in Namkham. The airstrikes killed a man in the town, injured five people, and destroyed many homes. Earlier that day, an elderly woman was killed, and her grandson was injured by airstrikes that targeted Pok Nur, Seryaytan, Nam Kham Phong, Aung Mingalar, and Ho Nawng wards in the town. Nine homes and a school were damaged during the bombings.

SAC has increased its airstrikes in Namkham and Muse townships along the border with China after Three Brotherhood Alliance seized hundreds of its bases and several towns since launching its 1027 Operation on October 27.
