Must read

Shan State Progress Party/Shan State Army (SSPP/SSA) and Restoration Council of Shan State/Shan State Army (RCSS/SSA) have reached a ceasefire agreement. This development follows years of conflict primarily in northern Shan State, with RCSS/SSA subsequently withdrawing its troops from the northern region.

The Shan armed groups have committed to releasing all prisoners of war, including civilian supporters who were detained.
