“I can’t say if the Burma Army clashed with TNLA (Ta’ang National Liberation Army) or another member group of the Northern Alliance,” Sai Aik, from Sel Lant village, told SHAN.

TNLA spokesperson Maj Tar Aik Kyaw said he hasn’t heard anything. “We haven’t fought for nearly a month.”

SHAN contacted Muse Myoma police for comment, but no one responded.

TNLA, Burma Army’s LID-88 and LID-99, and the Restoration Council of Shan State/Shan State Army have troops in Muse Township.
