The bodies of two women’s bodies with their hands tied behind their backs were found this Tuesday in northern Shan State.
Lashio Youth Social Team pick the dead bodies of the women and sent to Lashio Hospital
The bodies were found in a bush on the side of the road near Martchinu village, located in Tar Pon Village-tract, in Lashio Township.
Sai Wathon Tun, from Lashio Youth Social Team, says the women, who were found in their evening dress, haven’t been identified. It’s also unclear why they were killed or even how they died. Their bodies were so badly decomposed that it was not possible to determine if they had wounds, however, Sai Wathon Tun guessed they were between the ages of 40 and 50.
The bodies were sent to Lashio Public Hospital for autopsy.
SHAN called Lashio Myoma police station for more information, but no-one would comment.
Robberies in Lashio Township are not uncommon these days.
