Gunmen shot at two vehicles transporting ox, killing one driver and injuring another other at about 5:30 pm on May 1 near Mang Hai located in Hsipaw township in northern Shan State.
On the same day, another driver of a vehicle also carrying ox was shot and killed near Pang Sao Mueng and Sup-Lang villages in Hsipaw township at around 7 pm.

Kay Khaing Kyaw Co owns both vehicles that were attacked traveling to Muse located on the Myanmar and China border.
It’s not uncommon for lorries transporting livestock between Kyaukme and Hsipaw townships to be attacked by gunmen where many armed groups are active.
