Regime Launches Airstrikes on TNLA Camp in Kutkai Township

Must read

A regime airship dropped three bombs on a Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) camp in Kutkai Township in northern Shan State at around 2:30 pm on Tuesday.

“The helicopter also sprayed the TNLA camp with machine gun fire after the missile attack,” said an anonymous source knowledgeable about the incident. He was unsure if there were any casualties during the attack in Mong Yu Lay village-tract Muse District.

On Monday, the TNLA clashed with the Burma Army in the village of Jae Lant. On the same day, a Burma Army jet fighter attacked Loi Mauk and Loi Nam Kert villages. The TNLA reported that some buildings in its camp were damaged, but none of its soldiers were killed during the airstrikes. Jae Lant residents have dug bunkers to protect themselves from air attacks.

According to the TNLA, they have fought with regime troops 55 times between 23 July and 22 September.
